Audrey Zarate, PTA

Audrey is a native Midlander and became interested in physical therapy after experiencing a season-ending softball injury in high school. 

 

In 2016, Audrey graduated from Odessa College where she obtained her Physical Therapist Assistant degree. She worked at an orthopedic clinic for two years after graduating, mostly with patients experiencing cervical, lower back, and shoulder pain. She then worked in home health for three years, assisting the geriatric population maintain independence and improve their strength, endurance, and mobility in hopes of helping them live the best quality of life. Audrey also has experience working in the hospital setting, as she worked PRN for ORMC helping patients recover from extended hospital stays or sudden illnesses requiring extensive rehabilitation.

 

Audrey loves to read, write, work out and be outdoors! Most of all, she loves to spend time with her husband Cedric and son Jayce, both whom she absolutely adores.

 

Audrey loves to help others, is looking forward to expanding her treatment skills, and will be certified in dry needling in the near future. She is excited to join the MKPT and Wellness team and can’t wait to assist patients in meeting their highest rehab potential.
