However, to fully begin treatment, a referral will be needed from your medical doctor (MD), doctor of orthopedics (DO), physician's assistant, advanced nurse practitioner, podiatrist, dentist or chiropractor. Due to Texas law - one of the last states that requires a referral specifically for physical therapy - we are not allowed to begin your treatments without a referral.

Please bring your referral with you to your appointment or have the physician's office email it to us at MKPTwellness@gmail.com.

 

To reiterate, if you arrive at your first appointment with us without the referral, we will gladly do your comprehensive initial evaluation but would not be allowed to provide hands-on, manual therapy treatments at that time. In such a case, the price of the session would remain the same.
